Dear Lizzytysh
Looks like you're not reading/receiving emails?
I have tried to contact you to get your mailing
(postal) address. I have now the LC episode of
"The John Hammond Years" waiting on CDR. I'm sure
our visitors will love the interview (many comments
by Leonard too), and I'm sure we all are very thankful
to you for your kind offer to transcribe the program!
So would you please email the address to me!
(This thread will be removed after that)

Hi Jarkko ~ How odd!!!
I got your e-mail last night on nettaxi and also PM'd you back from here on the Forum! It follows:

Hi Jarkko ~
I clicked on the "View" button that came with your e-mail and all I got was your message [already viewable in your e-mail]. Then, I clicked on the "Download" button and got the identical thing. So, I went elsewhere and did other things. As I was closing out my bar across the bottom, I clicked on one tab and it said something to the effect of "Internet Message" and in a small box it said something close to "Your computer is not maximized for receiving exclusive downloads. Click here to install the necessary software." So, I thought that must be the explanation for sentences one and two above. So, I clicked on Download, and nothing happened. So, if you tried to send me the CDRs with music and interview, I'm unable to receive it, and I guess you'll need to mail them, after all. If none of this makes any sense to you, then I'm lost, as well
.
Thanks for sending them, if that's what your intention remains. I'll get right on it, as soon as I receive them.
~ Lizzy"

Hi Jarkko ~
No, I'm sorry, I haven't gotten anything. So many of my email addresses are
full. That's why I wanted one specifically devoted to the Event [or
communications such as yours].
My mailing address is:
[it was inserted here ~ and I'll send it to wherever and however you wish]
Sorry for the frustration it's caused you. The John Hammond interview you want transcribed, right?
Super! Mail them on!!!
~ Lizzy"

Now, I'm *really* lost, as nettaxi's been working just fine. I believe both of these were sent from home [the second one for sure].

Thanks, Lizzytysh - now I got the address both through the Inbox of
this Forum and the regular email. The interview will be mailed today.
I sent you also confirmation by email but it bounced back with a note
that you mailbox is over quota.
John Hammond was the famous record producer who signed Leonard
to CBS Columbia (and many other big names as well). A long
series of interviews were taped for radio (The John Hammond Years),
including one complete episode dedicated to Leonard.
In the interview both John and Leonard are looking back to the early
years when Leonard was just a beginner in the music business and was
introduced to the record company. They also tell about the recording sessions.
Hi Heretic, so sorry to hear that your friend Partisan is still grief-stricken
after a year or so... I will treat him to a Mythos when we meet next time
on Hydra... Maybe he will be accompanied by you, too - in that case I
will buy a bigger bottle

Thanks, Jarkko.....that's a relief! Of sorts, anyway.....please tell me which e-mail address is showing as over quota. If it's Yahoo or Hotmail, it's not a problem. If it's nettaxi, it definitely is a problem. The timing is perfect for this assignment, as some other [interfering] things in my life are dissipating. I look forward to getting it and transcribing. It sounds like a great interview [but then, what one isn't?]. Please let me know re: the e-mail situation.

Hi Jarkko ~
In addition to the one on the 8th [being discussed] I got one from you at nettaxi on June 28, which I answered ~ twice in fact, once on June 30 [when I first read it] and again on July 1. I sent them by clicking on the Reply tab. I'm going to PM you with the content of both [including your original], since you apparently never got them. As you know, it's crucial that it work. Joe and I have already tested it and it did fine. However, what the glitch could be with you, I have no idea.
