Hi,
I'm a little confused about how I will be able to get pre-sale tickets for Leonard iwhen he visits St. John's.

Here's why:I noted that the on-line ticket provider was addmissions.com. I logged on to their website and noted that while they have tickets sales for other LC venues across Canada, none were posted for Holy Heart Aud. in St. John's. So I sent them an email and was advised that they would not be offering online tickets in St. John's.

So here's my question: How can I order pre-sale tickets for St. John's with no obvious on-line provider?

Please advise and many thanks for your work on all these inquiries.

all the best,

Paul

I live in Fredericton. This is very exciting! So, does the pre-preoder thing start on Tuesday for the Playhouse show? It says so, and that the time is at 12:00 noon. Is this time local here? Does the password pop up on this site?

And, one final and probably stupid question: where would I do this pre-preordering? From downtown or online?

Cheers, and thanks!

Hey Paul. I've been wondering the same thing. I also contacted admission.com and got the same answer you did. I'm hoping that changes because I do not feel like lining up overnight in this horrid weather. News has already spread very rapidly it seems. There are going to be many broken-hearts over this small venue choice. Even if I do manage to get some tickets it'll still be tainted knowing that there would be so many fans unable to procure tickets. Media tickets best be kept to a minimum.

Cheers,

john

Thanks, John.

After your post , I started thinking that maybe the email reply was someone looking on-line at the same info I saw displayed. So I called the Admission.com toll-free and spoke to a very friendly agent. She advised me that sometimes a media release of multiple venues takes sometime to get programmed into their website. She said she has seen it in the past. She told me to continue to check back to their website and I should see an updated list soon. I hope so as I'm out of town all next week and hope to go online during lunch on Tuesday and see if I can be one of the chosen few.

all the best

Glad to hear that. Keep multiple browsers open and keep that Refresh hotkey in mind (alt+R). Best of luck to you.

I just heard the news this evening. I live in Alberta but I'm a Newfoundlander by birth (and by heart). It would mean the world for me to see Leonard perform. I had already booked a visit home in June to see my family, so I'll push the vacation back if it all works out to get to St. John's for the May 26th concert.

Thanks, Leonard. We've been waiting.

Can someone kindly list which locations from the 8 new cities are closest to New York as I seeing that a concert in the US does not look like it will happen I plan to drive to one of the 8 new cities to see LC.

Thank you.

I guess all I can do is keep optimistic. The password idea reminds me of "Mommy Dearest" here is a gift my love, now give it away. It is one thing to get there before others, but then there are those with the right friends in the right places that jump the lines. I know it sounds like belly aching, I am beginning to think that most of the tickets are going to be spoken for before they go to sale. Being in a small city is definetly not an advantage when people are so interconnected there may only be 1 degree of separation here in Fredericton, everyone you know knows someone you know.
I am sure the intentions of Leonard Cohen's mamagement was to give the fans in the Leonard Cohen Files a break per se, but their plan is grosely flawed. I am going to do whatever I can to get a ticket, legally. I can't imagine not getting one, if I do not WOW.
Jarrko I know you have a good, kind heart and this is probably giving you a massive headache. It is fabulous news that we are having an opportunity to see him, but a painful heartbreak for the folks who cannot get tickets.

I booked the London O2 through Ticketmaster this morning and there was definitely no pre-booking for Forum members. All the seats closest to the stage were almost immediately on offer in the ticket exchange section, with huge price tags that have risen through the day. I feel grateful to have a ticket for the ground floor and wish everyone great success in getting to the concert they want to see.

What a blessing we in the "far east" of Canada have been bestowed!

As a long time LC fan of slightly advanced age, this is an opportunity I cannot miss. Thank you Jarkko for letting us know, and for all the work you do to share the poetry and music of this master.

I know you probably have answered this question a hundred times but I just wanted some clearfication on pre-ordering. If I log on to this site on March 18th at before 12:00 I will be given a password. I then call my local ticketmaster and give them my name and password and secure a ticket? How many pre-tickets are being sold.
I almost fell to the floor when I heard he was coming. I must get tickets!!!!I have loved him since I was 11 years old.
