Wow. I didn't expect to be so moved. It seems I spend most of my life trying to not cry and consider myself an expert at the task, not tonight. It was so moving, all of it. Lou Reed's obvious real respect really set the tone, then reading poetry, what a bonus; and of course Leonard knew exactly what to say. Damien Rice's singing of Hallelujah was perfect.

Yankovich, I feel like I should thank you personally for making this happen. You have been a tireless champion in promoting his getting inducted to the Hall of Fame. So thanks for all your enthusiam over the years...

Wonderful.

Best,
Laurie

I'm glad I didn't miss him :) After learning that he was to play four dates in my home town, it was rewarding to see him accept his place in the hall of fame.

I missed the show because I thought it was supposed to be on regular VH1.
Thank heavens VH1 Classic shows on their schedule
that the Hall of Fame show will repeat at 1 PM DST on Tuesday if anyone
is interested in seeing it again or for the first time.

Thank You

You're Welcome

BEST BUY will also continue to air it.

You can watch the ceremony whenever you want for the next year. But I don't know exactly what day they will start allowing you to replay it. Maybe tomorrow.
