Lately small birds follow my steps
Dropping to my knees
I hear their hearts beating
I fall to their knees hearing their steps
Earthy essences drift through my senses
No one told me they had such beauty
Please send a poet
I cannot do them justice
I’ll start with small steps
Lately small birds follow my steps

"Bipolar is a roller-coaster ride without a seat belt. One day you're flying with the fireworks; for the next month you're being scraped off the trolley" I said that.
You've done it again, Byron. I need to find your poem from before, to find the correct word at this late hour. Esoteric might do. Still not. Maybe. About the size of a chickadee, your poem concisely turns in and about on itself, like a bird grooming beneath its feathers. "Earthy essences drift through my senses".....so sensual. "No one told me they had such beauty / Please send a poet / I cannot do them justice".....what intense, passive lines. I love this little poem, bowing down to your beloved creatures.

Dear Byron -
No one had to tell you of their beauty, you found out by yourself. This gate was made for you, and you humbly and gloriously passed through...
The birds don't have to bother about the poet - he was right there at their feet...
A small step for Byron, a giant leap for the reader's heart. Thank you.

Kush, was 'The Hours' as good as the hype? Does 'terrific' convey a real appreciation? How does it rate with her other work? I loved Kidman in 'Moulin Rouge'. And thank you for the response.
Byron 'sends his regards'.

Byron ...I meant both Harry Potter movies were terrific. By terrific I meant enjoyable, highly entertaining, a visual fantasy and with the right company I could be persuaded to see a second time.
The Hours was quite outstanding....interestingly enough it was not really about Virginia Woolf....or only partially so..I wont say more and spoil it for you. I thought it was a brilliant concept and very well directed...quite an art-film. Kidman is in her usual excellent form ....I missed Moulin Rouge....but I really liked her other recent movie 'The Others' (an old-fashioned ghost-story). But her role in The Hours could be her masterpiece.
