ok here is my guess of what the blocked writer Jack said to merit the response "democracy is coming",

I,Jack, so special,
so extraordinary.
I get extra votes

lightedpalace's condemnation of this political grandiosity is well-meaning but unlikely to rehabilitate the recidivist.

Since you are new here you might not quite appreciate the extraordinary level of performance that is being given here.
To have my haiku make sense to anyone the idea of justice will need to be looked at. Michael, having spent his adult life as a lawyer is going all out to give this presentation that Justice is blind. But since he really doesn't know what I have written he is also giving such a beautiful demonstration that he trusts me to be doing something that will make his performance worthwhile and so even with justice being blind he is pointing to something else that my haiku points to which is democracy's hope.
He tries to help and he does.

request to my pm'er, one of my favourite posters here, please do NOT give me any more info. what Jack is writing.

ok, this is my guess (regardless of your hints) (which might be subversive) (because you are a spy from Jack's Poetry Forum Non-Writers' Wing) (and therefor a traitor to the Poetry Forum Militant Wing)

Jack wrote

Michael, although I am very very special, and have the acknowledged unique ability to write several new masterworks daily,I ask so very little of you,but one incey wincey favour is alleth I asketh of thou.

Let me telleth thous all a story.

Many hours ago, I met this beatiful woman who confided "Jack, you are the most extraordinary person, friend, lover, and mentor that I haveth ever haveth", I replied, "oh, Woman so fair, your perception doth truly and verily stunneth me as we only first saw each other 5 seconds ago when we joined the same line waiting for the bus" She replied " I have the desire to sprinkleth Holiness in thou's direction". I said "Baby, are you up for it or not, shall we get it onneth, right noweth?"

Michael, my question for you is this, "is it possible for a person to become funny even as he approacheth his mid-60's?"

Jack, I bet I was close, eh?

Your Friend Michael, who has never liked you as much as since I banned all your posts.

Ah yes!!! that feeling of wanting to travel blind that we want so much. He does seem to be enjoying himself and no one is getting hurt.
Even though I put about 8 hours of thought into the haiku this is interesting for me too.

Hi Jimbo.
At the beginning of some other haikus there was an invitation for others to add verses. You are very good at that and I usually enjoy the verses I see you add. There was no such invitation with this one.

I am curious if anyone can see that it is single impression of a scene within a season.

Hi Jack ~

I've tried to read and reread it for understanding, but wasn't able to see what you're saying. For the season, I see that it could be this "political season" ~ however, I don't know who Edwin H Crosby the III is... or whether it's actually just Edwin H Crosby and you simply used the III to mean "the three" [Obama, McCain, and Crosby] vs. "the third," which I'd write as Edwin H Crosby III.

Since I also don't see McCain as being any kind of hope for democracy [but rather only continued war and additional ones], I'm afraid I'm missing the political point, as well. Is Edwin Crosby a Canadian? Now, Obama as hope for democracy... I understand that.

Hi Lizzy
Thanks for the effort you are putting into this. You seem to be doing well. It took me a long time to write and it is a viewpoint that is not easy to appreciate. It is one that I hold very strongly. I could answer your questions but then my curiousity would not be satisfied to see if it can stand without questions being answered, and you know how I love my curiousity. Him and I have a deal. If I don't like where he leads I will no longer breathe out and if he doesn't like how he is being treated he will no longer breathe in. It's hard to tell sometimes who has the throne. "I told you I was curious, I never said that I was brave"

If a person is discharged from the military because of mental reasons, they put a code on his discharge papers. For an employer to see one of these codes can be detrimental to hiring opportunities, and it can also be grounds for refusal to gain access to things like medical & financial care that our veterans are supposed to have access to. Edwin Crosby was a Vietnam vet who had one of these codes, and sued over it. I don't know if he ultimately won or not; he wanted the code removed from his record.
