I don't see a real need for another section. Each thread, no matter from where it starts, will soon gain a momentum of it's own which might lead anywhere.
I imagine a thread starting totally off-Cohen, but since Leonard is on most of our minds most of the time, there soon will be a post that compares say a line by Bob Dylan to one by LC - and the thread might indulge itself in a brainstorm about Leonard's poem.
As to naming a possible non-Cohen section: "Various Positions" would be quite a suggestion - hadn't Leonard used it already...

I think we are all well catered for already.
The Poetry section has really flourished(despite some undemocratic methods to remove it)
Tangents allow any section of this Forum to encompass any matter under the sun(excuse me Icarius)
and the natural tribalistic hatred of man will shine through, despite an attempt by many to be polite and add culture
BUT IT's OUR WEE BOARD
and we should thank Jarrko for creating it

I am a right bad ass, dankish prince and I love my Violet to bits.
While I have crossed swords with p. before and will no doubt do so again (there is a certain thrill in it), I and I also think he brings a certain entropy here....a level of disorder or agitation essential to any system. By saying things that nobody else will. We can get too complacent in our positions otherwise. And just once in a while, he can be prophetic......
And Paula, come on back.....you can't take this place that seriously.

May I suggest a more formal approach?
In medieval times when the young princes of this fair realm of Albion were having lessons in art, latin, chivalry, literature, spalling, amithretic, and killing peasants, they sometimes got their lessons wrong (shock horror). Now we all know that to lay a hand, boot, fist, or Liverpool Kiss on a member of royalty, the punishment was not pleasant. Therefore, in order to administer punishment to the young princeling, they gave him a present of a 'whipping boy'. This lucky lad shared the life of the prince but got the bejaisus knocked out of him when the prince was naughty.
Why don't we all nominate one of our happy throng to act as our group inspired whipping boy? Names on a postcard to be sent to lc for a directive from on high. ie: Mt Baldy.
Oh, and no sado masochistic volunteering either. None of that "whip me, whip me, but don't hurt me," rubbish!!

"Bipolar is a roller-coaster ride without a seat belt. One day you're flying with the fireworks; for the next month you're being scraped off the trolley" I said that.
