Writing this poem, I tried to get closer to the very tenderness I had mentioned then.In Dylan's song , I think, it is partly the attitude of "no one should know that I can be hurt", but in part it is the tenderness of a man who doesn't want his former love being hurt by the thought of having hurt him.
