song about L Cohen, and featuring him as well.....?

maybe 10 (give or take) years ago, I heard a song on Canadian Public Radio, sung by a woman, and the first verse or two were about (kind of a tribute, I guess) Mr. Cohen, and then Leonard himself sings with her for the last verse. Does anyone have any idea who sings this, or what the title is?

Unfortunately I don't know which recording you've heard at that time. Maybe you can remember more details? I'm sure, though, that someone will be able to help with this.

I don't think it is Leonard who sings the last verse. We know -- at least we believe that we do -- of all his guest appearances on the albums of other artists.

If the song really was ABOUT Leonard Cohen you could check the following listing - most of the songs about him are here:

The time and country would suggest that it was Nancy White's
