I just did some number crunching...I'd be spending upwards of $1200 for the whole thing... airplane tix.... concert tix... hotel... I think I am going to gamble and hope that he comes to LA (I mean... why wouldn't he????)

I live in LA as well. Am considering flying to Toronto. BUT, if the tour goes into 2009, then I am think there WOULD be an LA date? I

I have never been more excited about a tour! What will I do? I will need to see a minimum of two nights.... the first night, to enjoy the music, and the second night I will simply lose my shit and weep for the entire show. I already break down while listening to my Cohen live playlist on iTunes imag...

I find LC's music hysterical, thoughtful, sensual, and deeply spiritual... but rarely "sad." To be sad, the music would have to be manipulative and cloying ("Seasons in the Sun" comes to mind.) and I think this is different from melancholy, which is sadNESS mixed with sensuality....
