Re: John Cale "Paris 1919" at the Royal Festival Hall
Hello John, thank you for your thoughts; I am sorry to have taken a fews days to reply. I've not really made my mind up, not least of all as by the time parking etc. is added in, it's over fifty notes for what are now not very good seats at all. If I'm being honest, I'm just not really feeling very ...

Re: John Cale "Paris 1919" at the Royal Festival Hall
Hello John, I have only got Fragments of a Rainy Season but have fancied to go and see John Cale for a while. I don't know the Paris 1919 record at all except for the cuts that made it onto Fragments. It is well reviewed on Amazon where I see it has a running time of just 31 minutes. On the My space...

Notice her expression at 5.10 to 5.15 of the film. It's lovely she looks really proud to have sung it.

Re: Anny Celsi
I never heard of her before. The song you mentioned sounds quite nice but I only had a listen to the start so far. The title suggests that words are going to be interesting. I didn't care for the track at the top of the list on the myspace page but that might be a bit harsh cos I didn't give that mu...

Re: Lou Reed - unique gig in Europe with this program: in MILANO
Well I just looked at Lou Reed's website and remembered why I don't do that very often. It gives me such a headache. Apparently the show was also in Manchester UK just a few days ago, which is a bit of a hike anyway, but having seen the website I am not really sure what the low down for that show is...

I don't see anything about Lou Reed in that link. Maybe the show has been and gone already. I've been listening to Set the Twilight Reeling for the last week and also Magic and Loss.

Re: Big Announcement
If it’s not a live broadcast then maybe one of these : - Nomination for an award. Hopefully there will be lot of noses put out of joint like when Jethro Tull robbed Metallica of their Grammy award. (PS There’s solo Ian Anderson shows in September). - Guest mentor on American Idol. I don’t care what ...

Re: Big Announcement
My vote is for a live tv broadcast or did someone already bag that ? Like Aloha from Hawaii, but with different songs and less ostentatious clothes.
