the sapling

I planted a young sapling
when I met you.
It was as a jewel for me...
In humility and love
I've been devoted to its growth.
Along with its vegetation,
my hopes for a better life
were revived...
Suddenly a merciless storm
broke it in two.
My precious sapling
and its beautiful sprays
were bent and smashed
I've tried to keep it alive,
but it wasn't possible
without your interference...
You've answered with aversion
on my appeals for help.
Probably soon my sapped sapling
will die...
How dreadful and incomprehensible...
Many questions erode
my tormented soul
Why couldn't
my lovely sapling grow?
Was it misfortune
or a beforehand judgment?
Only you can help me
to find the right answer
So, be polite and tell me...

I dunno, Iubuta, maybe just bad luck... Never stop trying - in the end it will have been worth all the painful attempts...

I love your heartfelt and never pretentious poetry...
