I tried to download the album from amazon.com, but the download was denied because of "geographical restrictions".
Does this mean that they sell it only to american or canadian customers?
By the way: I´m thankful for any information on how to get the spanish tribute concert cd ACORDES CON LEONARD COHEN
and the polish cd DNO SERCA.

Was the original 1957 LP Vinyl Record release also called Six Montreal Poets?

Are these the only poems Leonard has ever recorded?

Yes - you have the scan of original LP on the top of this thread.

There were two LPs. The second is titled CANADIAN POETS 1 and released in 1966.

Other poetry recording were partial - never the full album. On CD, you can get 1966 recital from NYC (full album duration), and also, in mid 1980s Leonard did poetry recording with his producer Henry Lewy (recitation accompanied by a string & woodwind quartet music conducted by Jeremy Lubbock), but never released it. In 1999, Jarkko asked him about that - LC said the tape has deteriorated so much it can't be used anymore.

Full poetry recordings are listed at http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/poems.html

I have tried getting this on itunes but have not been able to locate it. Can any one confirm they have been successful in purchasing it from itunes?

Amazon is of no use to me as I am in Ireland and they are offering it for sale only to customers residing in America.

Type in Leonard Cohen in the iTunes search engine, then click on Leonard Cohen under ALBUMS. Don't click on any one particular album. Just click on his name, Leonard Cohen, under any of the albums and it will take you to his page. On the right side of the screen click on Top Songs. It will list the top downloaded Leonard Cohen songs. Scroll down to the bottom of the list. The Six Montreal Poets tracks are there. If they are not, then I guess they are not available on iTunes in your country.
