I like this alot... very good imagery, and the rhyme is nice... I'm not always a fan of rhyme, if you don't do it right, it can end up sounding kinda corny, you know? ( a problem I have myself haha)
However, I thought this poem rhymed very nicely, in a very smooth way that added to the poem, instead of distracting. If I try to make my poems rhyme I may almost end up changing the wording to make it fit-- thus taking away from the poem... except I'd rather it not fit, and be what I wanted, than it fit, and rhyme. You finnesed it quite well!

this is beautiful! really beautiful.

(reminds me of tom waits' writing on 'alice'... especially 'watch her disappear')
