I am having a shoulder op. next Friday and will not be allowed to drive for a month afterwards.
so no car lift for Paula (although a chair lift for me would be a good idea), but worst of all, at this gathering in Camden to celebrate my birthday at the end of October, I will not be fit enough to sign autographs. However, I will be prepared to pose for photographs providing you do not require me to wave or do anything else with my arm above the horizontal.

Not to worry Michael you can come in a cab with us lot and thanks for the offer. Not a frozen shoulder I hope I had one sooooooooo painful.
Anyway Michael look on the bright side I just checked the lottery and got three numbers on my lottery hotpick thats worth about £400. Swings and roundabouts!

Good luck with your shoulder operation Mickey. Hope you've sufficiently recovered by the 20th for it not to interfere with your enjoyment of the evening.

thanks Laura, I am sure it will go well! However, it does mean that the Exhibition Basketball Match between Leonard and I is now officially cancelled.

actually I think we were heading for a close match. I had the age advantage but he has fitness on his side. we were playing to the first to score 3 baskets with 5 minute sit-downs every 6 minutes to eat a little chicken soup maybe, have a general
kvetch and
schlep naccas over our good fortunes.

This does not look like it should be difficult to rearrange... once your spoon arm is better. Perhaps, it'll be a tie, but still worth your combined weight in photos.
