Oh, yes... you can believe I'll do that. [As I recall, from a couple postings ago, that was the point, right ... unless something has already changed and we have new reasons.]

This is a pretty unskilled-labour job and a fairly short-lived, pretty much 'thankless' one... yet, in the past, we've considered it quite integral to the process.

CRUCIAL CLARIFICATION RE: INTERTHINGY ROLE ~ The Interthingy is NOT part of the judging process. I will be sending all poems on to Michael and Manna WITHOUT COMMENT. They are the only two judges who will be making decisions on the poems... and discussing them, in the end, if necessary, before arriving at their final decision.

The ONLY thing I'll be commenting back to you will be something to confirm that I received your poem and that it's been sent on.

So, in summation, I'm the outer ring, where bribery will NOT work; protecting the inner ring, where bribery will NOT work, either. Right on? Write on!

The other thing I wanted to mention [not sure if it was and then got lost amidst The Goddess Capers] was that, if this comp goes as those in the past have, that after judging has been completed, the winners will be posted in separate postings. After some time has passed for those to be appreciated and commented upon, the others will be posted, as well. They were done in separate postings last time [less confusing].

The writers' choices of identification will not be posted. It will be up to them [winners included] to identify their own poems. Now, if I'm remembering any of this wrong [the winners' identities being announced is one thing that jumps to mind], or if this process has been altered, someone will correct me. Probably Michael, in fact .

AH! PLEASE TITLE YOUR POEMS... this serves your poem as well as our process, both very well. If it's not been titled, I'll write back and ask you for one. It'll be much simpler if you just do that to begin with, though.

Contest rules stip-you-late that the title of poems is to be "that's right, it's come to this."

Also, using the word soul will automatically disqualify the entry.

Oh, that's right, Manna! In the past, that kind of thing was to be the THEME rather than the TITLE .

I've no idea what the deal is on the one that fell into the chasm of his Hotmail. Neither I nor Manna have received it from Michael or anyone else. I'm sure he'll set us straight on it, including whether he was just joking .

Not that your objectivity would have been compromised even then.

Yes... I'll do that. Send them on to you at that addy. Now that I have it, you may want to delete it from here... you know how it can get sometimes... with someone thinking that was where THEY, rather than I, were supposed to send them.

Thanks for getting #2 into place later tonite. On both poems, if you could also send whatever "id" for themselves that they've designated, so they will completely align with the others, that would be cool.
