Time to go

by silvergreen

the time to go, my love, has come,
well, everything seems to be done,
and everything seems to be said -
i’d rather wish to die, instead …

you’re not mine, will never be,
though you’ve told me you love me,
i’m not yours, will never happen,
you, my love, beyond the sea,
my soul always seems to deepen …

i want you to be my home,
though you’ve never been alone,
though I’m here, you are there,
crying till the break of dawn,
wishing to have you somewhere …
challenge you to love me, I dare,
but life’s not always so fair …

time to go, my love, has come,
happiness seems to be gone,
my moment’s never been right,
in the middle of my life
always tryin’ to catch a sight
of your loving glamour’s light,
in spite of my inner strife …

think of me when you will hear
some of my LC’s songs dear,
pray for me when you will see
my clepsydra that will be
measuring my love for you …

wishing you would love me too,
just don’t know what have to do …

I dreamed about you, baby.
It was just the other night.
Most of you was naked
Ah but some of you was light.
The sands of time were falling
from your fingers and your thumb,
and you were waiting
for the miracle, for the miracle to come ...
(LC's "Waiting For The Miracle")

This is very beautiful and sad, Elena. I love the flow of your words.

You've chosen wonderfully on your accompanying visuals and with two phases of Leonard's life.
