I listen to Karen Carpenter, sister

I've said too much
over the past few days
can't control myself
And right now
I listen to Karen Carpenter
do her thing
she always reminded me
of you
I still have a scratched '45
from the 70's, somewhere

Today is your birthday
wherever you are
in whatever dimension
if any

Please, give my love to them

As for me, I must be quiet now
Think I'll walk the dog a bit

This one touched me, Adam.

Happy Birthday from me for your love, wherever and however she is.

On a visit down here, can't ignore old friends. Hi Boss, nice to see you. How's the new Boss? Happy thoughts of your dear sister on her birthday.

Take good care,

Diane

This poem got my attention Boss. Karen Carpenter is such an iconic figure of the 70's, with a tragic story. It prompts so many questions about the sister. The use of 'dimension' throws me though, why did you pick this word? And 'them'? I like the way you end it.

got my attention too. so naked.
that ending is kind of back-on-boogie-street to me. can't be so naked on boogie street.
