I see a resemblance here!!

Quote from "Collectors Rarities"
Another painting of Catherine Tekakwitha has been reprinted on the cover flap; Leonard has always this photo with him in his wallet. Finally, the other cover flap shows the prayer which has been printed on the other side of Catherine's photo (Its The prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha). Cohen explains that he has always been influenced by Catherine, his angel: "She still speaks to me".

Yes, Liz. Saying that it's a striking resemblance is an understatement, isn't it? Such minor differences and such shared essence. Judith Fitzgerald first brought it to my attention privately a couple awhiles back and I certainly agreed. She then brought it here [somewhere]; not sure if she's since deleted that posting along with others or not. It's funny because the other night I was looking at the one you have on the lower right and thinking again about their remarkable resemblance... especially with Anjani's looking up and her face, body, and surroundings bathed in the heavenly light.

It's really as if Leonard's angel came to speak to him on earth in the form of Anjani. Now, he hears her voice and sees her face. Angel made manifest. Thanks for making and posting this lovely display.

Wow remarkable--he must have taken a second look when he met Anjani. But who knows--maybe not consciously.
