Apologies if this has already been noted here, but I've just received the great news that Our Man is scheduled to be 'in conversation' with Philip Glass at the Barbican (London - UK) on 20 October just before the UK premiere of the Book of Longing work.

That's great! Now we need to get confirmation that the tickets to the concert also entitle us to hear the discussion in the afternoon.

The Barbican site indicates that tix to the concert are the means of entry to the conversation. Glass is doing that, without Leonard, at Lincoln center this Sunday.

Seems Luminato had high prices and charged for more things......

This is good news. Thanks for letting us know. I'm looking forward to the concert so much and now this adds that extra dimension.

Jarkko are you going to the Barbican?
Yep, Eija and I reserved tickets last month
(and there are still tickets available, said a gentleman from New Jersey who booked some days ago!)

This conversation is priceless. You guys are in for a real treat.

Now, if the facilitator [if it's not Rockwell] has questions about this Finnish site on Leonard Cohen, Leonard can just ask you to please stand up, Jarkko  ... and if it is Rockwell, he will surely be interested in meeting you :D .

It looks like you need to play the Lottery, Paula 8) . Lady Luck has smiled on you, as you've struck pure gold twice now :D

Hi Everyone!

Just booked my ticket for the 20 th and I am in the circle, all tickets are gone in the stalls!

The tickets are £36 plus booking fee ,£1 online and £2 if you phone.

I was invited to see Leonard on Sunday but due to a family crises could not go,I am very sad about this as I was so looking forward to meeting the great Man and Anjani!

Now am a little happier!

Maybe next time!

Peace and Zen Moments to all on this Forum!

Lizzie I am gonna buy a ticket I can't believe my luck. I think he should move to England and we could do a straight swap with Madonna.

Jarkko let the cat out of the bag...... the new jersey guy is me.

Linda and I are thrilled to be planning our attendance on the 20th, and having the opportunity to hug and greet so many great Cohen friends.

See ya soon everyone!

This thread begs a certain question, however i am tired of my posts being deleted/edited. Then again, i suspect it was already posted, possibly even several times, and was removed by the moderators.

So let me get this straight - you wouldn't have bought a ticket for Book of Longing, but you're going to now because Leonard will be there?

Paula already has a ticket for Book of Longing, next to Pete and I. She was referring to buying a lottery ticket since she's having such a run of good luck !
