My first impulse with this is to not like it very much, but I have made a conscious decision to try to have you help me like it. The first stanza is mostly fine except for that cliched sparkling grin. I like the weirdness of "voice so deep from cavern," though I don't know what is means. Is it deep as a cavern? Did a cavern make his voice deep?

I'd always taken his delta-alpha-omega to be a reference to femmie parts, the river where life is born... so I wonder what you think it means, and how he can have one. I like that you can mold yourself into whatever audience he may need for a work. I don't like that you're bowing down to pray to Lord Leonard, but if you want to do that, go ahead. (I'd rather see you call him brother, but it's your poem.) If you think it will help, go ahead.

Dear Manna
I composed that little ditty in about 10 minutes and, it was not a serious poem--sorry if you thought I meant it to be.
What it really was was a kind of reaction to all the adulation I see in the postings of this forum as well as to the comments on his song Dear Heather, which I personally happen to enjoy very much, but not everyone does. I was (I thought) echoing in my mind Leonard's dry humour --but please don't try to like it. I would be terribly embarrassed if anyone took it too seriously--I long since gave up any serious attempt at poetry, as I have no patience past 10 minutes or so . Sincerely
