This is for those of you who only read the News section of the Forum.
We have many interesting threads in the "Live performances" section about the Blue Alert tour in London, Oslo, and Warsaw.
And don't miss these two links to the duets! (there are more useful links in the threads about the mini tour)

Thank you so much for posting these, Jarkko. It's so good to be able to listen to them, again, from here.
I agree with what HeckOfAGuy says:
Never Got To Love You is an alluring, powerful musical statement of longing, sadness, and personal courage in the face of unfulfilled hope.
. . .
The Opportunity To Listen To The Sound Of Two People In Love, Singing ~ Leonard Cohen and Anjani Perform - and Inhabit - Whither Thou Goest
Whither Thou Goest, however, is not on any album1 although it was often used by Cohen,2 who sang it a capella with other band members, as a concluding benediction to many of the concerts of his 1988 and 1993 tours.3
A more tactical and pertinent motivation to post only this song is to avoid detracting attention from this piece.4 It is a quiet affirmation of affection and commitment which could be obscured by more dynamic productions - and it shouldn’t have to compete in such an arena.5 The impact of “I love you deeply and will be with you wherever you go and whatever happens” is not enhanced by being shouted.
. . .
This canticle, its intonations a particularly good fit with Cohen’s voice and phrasings, has been resurrected for the current concert tour with Cohen joining Anjani on stage for this final song.
And, although Whither Thou Goest continues to serve as a farewell blessing to the audience, now it is also a strikingly tender and paradoxically intimate love song between the two musicians.
These songs are a wonderful way to close out the night. Thanks, again, Jarkko.

Yes indeed, well worth hearing. Always loved that passage from the Book Of Ruth.
Prefer the Blue Alert version of Never Got To Love you - but that's a subjective thing.

Having seen Leonard Cohen on pictures in principal duet with his Zen Master for the last years, it is strange to me to see the Hawaiin at the place where I am used to see the Japanese. But is seems to fit as well - so well - for this part of his life. Great. Just Great

- the only problem is : i can't hear them because my speakers refuse - how stubborn they are - to make any sound since the last days.

. I'll have to listen the CD.

Yes... if you can't see them in person, at least listen to them here. I would love to be one of those who will see them in person; maybe, one day. These recordings are more than worth their weight in gold.

I finally got the time to move my desk, crawl under it, unplug and plug the speakers, let go some "magic" swearing or two, and tada!! they work again now (I'm thinking to start a speaker repair business - you can PM me for services) so I've just listened to the link, and the quality is veeeeeery good. Have a try! Anjani has many lights in her voice and Leonard Cohen's voice is deep and beautiful the music is great.

this is for people like osmachar who wants to download the links:
the way l did it was to wait for the the complete song then
For Firefox users like me
clicked on c drive then
documents and settings
local settings
application data
clicked on the mozilla folder
firefox folder
profiles folder
then the .default folder
lastly opened the cache folder
inside there may be several files but the file with 6.26 mb will be the never love you file and the one with 1.54mb will be the other song
moved these two files to a folder into my documents/my music
lastly renamed them to .mp3 files and you can play them in windows media player.
seems alot of fiddling about but l had the cache folder opened while waiting for the song to finish buffering...l have dial up!
For Internet Explorer user, l am not too sure but same principles,
1) Firstly, click Tools or control panel- Internet Options
2) In the General Tab, click the Settings button available in the Temporary Internet Files group.
3) Click View Files to open your Temporary Internet Files folder.
then look for the files with the right size 6.26 and 1.54
move them into my documents and rename to mp3.
Those methods above only function if your internet browser’s cache file has not been cleared yet. Make sure that you did not close the internet browser before you save the flash file.
good luck
