Mine eyes have seen the glory - Leonard sang two songs with Anjani - who sang a further 4 songs from Blue Alert
I have just seen them live front row seat at the Cuckoo Club - met Leonard and Anjani and I may have captured it on video

Anjani was actually superb, much more evocative live than on record and much more beautiful than her album cover.

Leonard was witty and inspirational. Can wait to see the video and pics.
I fear I may never see him again live but that was truly "awesome" (and not in the American sense)

. . . front row seat . . .
This is something I hadn't even considered... where the winners would sit. What a privilege and honour Anjani and Leonard have arranged for you folks who won 8) !!

:D I'm so happy for you, Simon, I can't stop smiling :D ~ your description is wonderful. Clearly, every single thing about the concert was, too... which Margaret is that? Was it Barry who won and took Margaret? Or Margaret who won and took Barry? Or did they win individually?
amazingly live in the next road to me 180 miles away
That is TRULY amazing  !

One question:
but that was truly "awesome" (and not in the American sense)
What is the "American sense"? The only thing I can relate that to is "Shock and Awe" ~ is that what you're referring to?

This is just so wonderful for you, Simon... did you give Leonard a copy of your cd?

Ah!! Where do they go next? Who will we hear from next?? It's easy to imagine that Anjani sounds and looks even better in person. Amazing that she could be even more evocative, when she's so much that already 8) !

I know you're floating right now, Simon :D .

Whither Thou Goest ?

whither thou goest and the heart is always one - 2 songs

My camera for some reason didnt shoot the Anjani songs but only the duets,God I got this on stereo video !!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

extracts from the heart is always one:

Memories come back like memories alone
It feels like you just met me, though it happened years ago,
there standing up from the chair they're wiping down the bar
it happened down the bar
I'll never got to tell you how beautiful you are,
I never got to love you like I heard it can be done
when the differences are many but the heart is always one

dont know how it happened but i missed the exit sign
and its dark from here to st tropez
and its dark all down the line
I never got to love you
like I heard it can be done
when the differences are many
but the heart is always one
(Chorus)
I never got to love you
like I heard it can be done
when the differences are many
but the heart is always one

Extracts from Whither thou goest which Anjani said was their new favourite

Whither thou goest i will go
wherever thou marchest i will march
thy people shall be thy people my love
whither thou goest will go
for as in that story long ago
that same sweet love story always so
thy shall be my people my love
for as in my story long ago
whither thou goest will go
thy people shall be my people my love
whither thou goest will go
wherever thy marchest

This is clearly a good thing  !!! A treasure for you to keep and [hopefully, YouTube?] share. It would be splendid to see this! I just remembered that cameras weren't allowed... how did you do this? A cell phone?

Does your phone/camera have maximum capacity that you used up, via the first two performances?

on camcorder
???

This wasn't considered a "camera" for 'security' person/doorman purposes? Or ~ in the alternative ~ how did you manage to sneak in a camcorder... and if you snuck it in, perhaps, nix the YouTube idea?
