In 2003 I had written an alternative "Passing Through" lyric that I used to sing when I knew I was in a "safe" environment, the Democrats in the forum might understand that comment.

Now, we can sing it loud and sing it clear, and hear some Republican voices bring up the rear .

You know how I feel about your verse, John. Thanks to Chris for expressing it succinctly. I was listening to commentary on NPR yesterday how, because of the way he has mis-handled his administration, and the current state of events, that he will likely be in the highest lame-duck status, to date in history, of any U.S. President. Surrounded by bad news... and here comes some good.
