Many angels have slipped my grip
And many have I forlorn
Any gesture flipped finger or nip
Would ease though much I mourn
Secluded poverty I wage
Lonelier sapper yet be birthed
Inside a world me by encaged
Dog-side and laptop hearthed
My pin be pressed switches and buttons
Underwater vision foggy satire
Cutting stitching mittens and muttons
So hoping waiting nothing

Hi elazar,
be birthed
Inside a world me
Great image of a thinking recluse.
Try posting this poem on the "lonliness and solitude" thread that Sandra posted.
Secluded poverty I wage
....Dog-side and laptop hearthed
It seems one is never really lonely if they have a dog for a friend and fibre-optic-cyber friends.
It is both :
a matter of degree and
a matter of perspective.
regards, Matj

thanks mat!
indeed, perhaps some loneliness is abated by the dog or online communicae.

A black eyed dog he called at my door
The black eyed dog he called for more
A black eyed dog he knew my name
A black eyed dog he knew my name
A black eyed dog
A black eyed dog.
I'm growing old and I wanna go home
I'm growiing old and I don't wanna know
I'm growing old and I wanna go home.
A black eyed dog he called at my door
A black eyed dog he called for more.

two hearts entwined is that the answer?

Ania! I've been meaning to write, though seem to have procrastinated beyond reason. This weekend, I promise!
