Just got a google hit on lc that indicates the Spector trial may become a tv event....

Would hope court channel -- does any one else do trials these days? Would not anticipate interest by every news outlet -- but who knows?

I'm trying to remember what made me think of Spector the other day... did another celebrity kill or get killed recently? Something brought Spector front-and-center in my mind. I almost asked on here what's happened with that homicide. Now, wish I would have... at least it'd be a cue card now, as to what made me think of him

.
Court TV

?? Guess that makes sense, given his celebrity and how they make these kinds of decisions these days... G~d, I hope they don't petition Leonard to testify!

I don't know, Dem, but he'd better put some clothes on that little red x.

Hi Dem ~
A little red x in a tiny, white box is all that shows when the picture itself won't

He look like the Grinch having a bad hair day (assuming
the Grinch has hair, which I don't think he does)!

Lizzy:
Can't you see the picture?
Dick:
I am wondering if his defence is going to play
the "insanity" card.

Wouldn't be much of a stretch if needed....

I can now, now that I'm at home, Dem

. If " . . by Way of Insanity" is their intent, that haircut, uh hairgrowth, is the way to go

. Well, I guess he wanted to be a cutting figure and that may have been his strongest, potential, physical trait, eh? No one could accuse him of being drop-dead gorgeous. I can see various actors in his face and personae, to where I could say, " . . . and . . . and . . . with hair gone wild," but I won't bother. It reminds me of what I paid to have done when I lived in Atlanta in the early 70s, though

, just not quite as top heavy.

Murder trial begins for Phil Spector
http://igoto.co.uk/gzj
and
http://igoto.co.uk/gzh
And yes Dick, the trial will be on TV and it seems there is
big interest:
"The judge has ruled that the trial can be broadcast live, making it the biggest celebrity case to be televised from Los Angeles since O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murder in 1995, bringing scorn on the city's legal system. Fifty news organizations asked for seats."
Dem
At least he changed his hair from "insane Bush"
to "British fig" -pun indented
"Phil Spector, who came to court in Los Angeles sporting a new blond, Beatles-style shag"
