This is one of those things that not too many people know about or maybe I'm the only one. One the song "Waiting For The Miracle" if you play it backwards, you can hear Leonard singing "leave me" in Greek.

Hi LiquidSound ~
For those of us not knowing how "leave me" sounds in Greek, can you possibly spell it out phonetically here, so we know what we're listening for [once 'we' have sound

]? Thanks.

This is remarkable, LiquidSound. Would you kindly talk us through the process by which you came to this discovery. Did you work through Leonards work, from the "songs of", playing them all backwards untill something happened? Or was it just a random stab in the dark? We need to know these things.
Rob.

I think inretrospect that maybe it was the life that was missed over the years, the wives lost to pater idious as well as the loves lost as well. Maybe Lenny was saying should pater not called him delirious, th life would have been great and no need to be "left here". Of course being left helped him survive the wrath of Boss a few times.
pater has dealt me some major misery as well, so I can relate with Spiderlilly much.

Here it is...
Listen and you can clearly hear Leonard saying "leave Me" in Greek.
Ah (Short "A" sound- like "ma") Se ("S" with a short "E" sound) Me ("M" short "E" sound like the begining of the word "Everybody)
Ah Se Me means leave me in Greek.
I discovered this by playing Leonard Cohen's songs backwards.

I can post that backwards but I don't think that there is anything in it.

To me, it sounds like her voice is recorded weird and she says she is going to play the Moonlight Sonata backwards. Could be nothing but you never know....

It is a little known fact that, if you play alot of the music that isn't Leonard Cohen backwards, it sounds much better (than it did before, not than Leonard Cohen).
Anyone remember a fantastic illustrated novel by Brian Aldiss (I think) about a reflected world called "Elip"?

How
DO you play something backwards, to begin with?? ["backwards"/"begin with"

~ not intentional, but I like it

~ kinda Pete'y, in its way].

How interesting! Perhaps it has something to do with the Da Vinci code? Or visits by extra terrestrials?
