I knew I'd enjoy this, Pete, as soon as I saw your name... :)
I must confess, though, that when I saw the title, tinkling bells came to mind, rather than echoes... echoes... choes... choes... sss.. ss.. s...

Nice to see you over here, again :D .

... and that reminds me of the childhood fun we had with:

"Pete and Repete went up the mountain. Pete fell off. Who was left?"

"Repete."

"Pete and Repete went up the mountain. Pete fell off. Who was left?"

"I said, Repete."

"Pete and Repete went up the mountain. Pete fell off. Who was left?"

 "How many times do I have to say it  !?! Repete  !!"

It was always fun and sometimes amazing to see how long it took some to catch on...

I don't remember falling off the mountain
I was only 4
It seemed like a mountain face
My father didn't push me
I don't remember the ambulance
I do remember my mother not being there
My father didn't push me
He told me so
I do remember the flowers in the hospital ward though
They helped me talk

Pete, Hi I'm James, just wondered if you'd be up for a cup of tea if I ever made it over to the U.K.? I have a terribly tendancy to lack ambitions but this is one I'd like to nurture. We could swap father stories, or I could just listen.
Sincerely,
As above.
