I know that I have plenty of things to thank Henning for, and one day maybe, just maybe, I will sit him down and make a start.
Anyways I would like to make a start and thank him for the copy of the cd of Carla and Chris's set in Berlin which he passed on to me in Dublin.
After a bit of research I have managed to nail down the tracklist and have knocked up some artwork for the cd which can be found at the link below.

It's the first time that I have used photobucket and it looks like the resolution has been vastly reduced during uploading.
So if anybody does require a copy of the artwork just PM me and I will post off a copy direct.

It hasn't.
If you click on the small images they open in larg format.

You are quite right to say that a larger image opens up when you click on the smaller image. But this larger image is still not the same size as the one I uploaded.
The size of the original images that I uploaded were as follows:-
front cover = 24:4cm. x 12:1 cm
back cover = 15:0cm. x 11:8cm.
The images on photobucket are:-
front cover = 10:16cm. x 5:04cm.
back cover = 7:99cm. x 7:99cm.
I notice that at least photobucket retains the original resolution of 200 pixels/inch.
What all this boils down to is that downloading these covers from photobucket is a waste of time. After downloading them you will need to resize the images to the the original size, at which stage all the detail will disappear.
Yahoo use to have a similar facility called Yahoo Briefcase, which did the very same thing with images that were uploaded into it.
I have hundreds of Bob Dylan bootleg cd covers stored on dozens of private Yahoo sites, which retain their original image and resolution sizes when downloaded.
As another experiment I will create a Yahoo site soley for LC covers.
Watch this space.

Ken when I click on the small images they open in my screen something like:
front cover = 27cm x 14 cm
chris__carla_berlin_2006_front.jpg (800x 397 - 182 K)
back cover =28cm x 22cm
chris__carla_berlin_2006_back.jpg (800 x 629 - 213 K)
Anyway, aren't the dimensions of a standard CD jewel case
14 x 12 cm ?

The way I create covers for cds is that the front cover folds in two so that when you open the jewel case you have something to look at rather than the just the plain back of the front cover.
The inside measurement of a cd cover is
12.2cm. x 12.1cm.
So to to make a front cover that will fold in half to give you an inside page of images or info the measurement is
24.4cm. x 12.1cm.
I've quickly created a Yahoo page that I have uploaded a couple of covers to.
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/le ... art/files/
You will notice that when you download the covers they retain their correct size and resolution.
Perhaps one day we could organise it so anybody could upload LC cd artwork.
