I need some clarification. I thought this was 'new' or "new" ~ however, it looks the same on the outside and when I go to the Amazon link, it shows "21 used and new available from $12.32" ~ so what's the real deal with it? If it's 'new' or "new," there hasn't been time for there to already be "21 used" ~ what am I missing? Obviously, something .

The info was repeated on amazon that this is a revised edition --- if its not, I've still got a nice gift for someone.

I have the first edition, and I ordered also the new one. They claim it's "entirely re-imagined and redesigned". Used copies and "Look Inside" option are reffering, I guess, to 1996 edition.
In my humble opinion, it's best art/poetry book with Leonard's poetry. But I like Matisse very much, so...

I'll write more about differences between first and second edition when I get this one (if there's any difference - from what I can see on Amazon, cover art is the same, but in slightly different letters and colours' nuances)... And - as Dick said - if not, I'll also have the best Cohen-related gift for someone (but the new one, as my first copy is inscribed /it was very special gift from US in pre-internet time, personally delivered over the Atlantic/.)

Yesterday, in another thread, someone mentioned Jack Vettriano's painting Dance Me To The end Of Love. I didno't hear about it before, but funny thing was that later that day I received package from Amazon, and inside they put catalogue from allposters.com site, and that painting was printed inside, so it's obviously going very well.

Got the new book from amazon yesterday --- am very pleased. It is same size, and some pics are the same, but color and new typefonts are impressive, some new pics, and bio has been updated to mention "Dear Heather" and "Book of Longing."

I think it is well worth the price!
