I'm a big fan of Leonard Cohen and other relaxed music. Listening to calm music really helps me keep focused at work or unwind after a long day. One of my recent artists is Madeleine Peyroux. Her style has kind of a jazz-meets-soul vibe and her smooth voice compliments it well. I saw on her website that she has a new album coming out on the 12th of this month and she named Leonard Cohen as one of the focuses of it! It's called 'Half the Perfect World'.
