Berlin(2006)

I started writing the lyrics for this song monday night. Overwhelmed as I was with all the deeply moving moments at the event, and so very touched by all the wonderful persons I met.
When I came home the feelings of love for you all, was everywhere and especially the grief that it will be such long time before we meet again. In this mood I ended the song, and thought I would record it right away. I dedicate it to all of you.
Thank you so much Henning for a perfect Event.

Peter - this song is really lovely - I am really touched - listening to it over and over again.
Thank you...
And I also would like to thank you for a very interesting conversation at the Universal Hall - concerning "Stranger Song" - hope you still remember that...
I also hope we'd be able to continue that talk - maybe on LC chatroom?

I finally heard the song. I don't know what went wrong before, but it didn't work. Well, even now it only sort of worked, since I heard no bells.
Must be the cheap speakers you get for free when you buy a computer...
But I do like the song. Withot bells as I heard it, anyway.

And will someone PLEASE explain to me what are the 'polka dots'? Some sort of jewelry, I was told? Well, how can you dance on jewelry? What's the significance of that line?

Hallo Mirek- thank you for these very informative link- I wonder if there is a size of the dots- that if they are big enough they become polka -dott, instead of just ordinary dots.
Peter...You may ring the bells that still can ring..
Im more curios if anyone could help me with the second line in "take this longing" :you fastened to the rain !
I have wondered in may years now..

I always thought dancing on polka dots was about dancing in a disco that has those big revolving mirrored balls hanging from the ceiling that throw big dots of light everywhere! Of course, it is a long time since I was in a disco
