Hi, everybody!
I'm a Leonard Cohen fan and an Italian literary critic. I am writing an essay on Alexander Trocchi, and I would desperately need the text of Cohen's poem on him ("Alexander Trocchi, public junkie, priez pour nous"), which is in "Flowers for Hitler" (and may be also in Selected Poems, but I am not sure). The book is not available in Italy, and a long search on the web has given no result. Is there anyone so polite to send me the text of the poem to this address: spbarillari@libero.it or in this forum?

Thank you so much in advance.

I have it at home, in Selected Poems. So, if you don't have it already, I can post it tomorow (Wednesday)? Greetings.

It's ok Tom, I've typed out and emailed the poem to him. I probably have a lot more time than you, being a gentleman of leisure,
Actually it made me look much closer at the poem and appreciate it a great deal.
Maybe the guy who posted the query in the first place, sorry I've forgotten your name, could put your article on here.
Best wishes
Glyn :D

OK, thanks Glyn.
You know, I make time late in the night for reading Jim Devlin's book e.g. (which I did last night), but my problem still is that I don't have internet connection at my home:-)

Glyn, would you please copy and paste the poem on this board, too - all members do not have the poetry books!
