Arthur Lee

Sadly, Arthur Lee of Love has died, several weeks after a bone-marrow transplant for leukemia. I'll always treasure the Love concerts with Arthur that I saw (19 in recent years and three in earlier years). I also had the pleasure of meeting him briefly a few times. He always seemed friendly and kind - even though I knew he had a crazy side. Anyone who doesn't know Arthur's work should buy "Forever Changes" without hesitation. It remains one of the greatest albums of all time - released as it was quite close to "The Songs of Leonard Cohen". Love on Earth Must Be! John E
