The steering wheel
of my old blue bug
spun 'round and cried
"where is she
I want her caresses
I want her fingers
wrapped around me!"

"Ha!" You jerk!
(I said),
"me too !"

The knob
on the gear stick laughed
"me too!"
and the seat
oh! the seat sighed
"me too"...

the mirror shattered
the door opened up
the window sank
the engine moaned
and the brakes ground to a halt
as we remembered
your farewell glance,

"for the last time".
