My story and Leonard

I felt in love with you
As I saw you there
Sitting in your chair
On that favourite corner of yours
Tasting a glass of wine
Talking about your likes
With simplicity and calm

Leonard Cohen that was your name
They said you were a singer and a poet
The time passed but your name
Could not leave my memory
And suddenly following my urgency
I looked for your songs
I listened and was thrilled
What else could I do?
I must be closer, closer
And dreaming found this site
I come day after day
like a lover with the passion of first days
Feeling I was near you
Sharing with all your fans
The time has passed
I go on enjoying

Your soft and tender voice is my companion
I love you Leonard

Very....very.....beautiful, Sandra. A woman song. One I understand. One we try out of some sense of propriety to express other ways. One...alone and listening....we understand. Love calls you by your name.

Sandra..."there" and "chair"......where? "Dream".....metaphor or real...sleep or waking? Your search has been worthwhile.

Elizabeth!
The first time I "saw" Leonard Cohen it was in the channel People and Arts it was an interview and he was sat by a small table talking about his life...
I was sorry that I found the interview almost at the end....
and about the poem, yes......it comes from a woman´s heart......
