I don't know if this is asked before...
What is Mr. Cohen singing at the end of the live performance of Jazz Police?
He "mutters" something very fast over and over again while his background singers sing along.
I just cannot understand what he's singing. Either my English is too slow or he is too fast

I also didn't quite get it. I have two live cuts (Austin 1988, Toronto 1988). I think that in one of them he's just nobbling sounds without meaning ("wa wa wa wa"), but in another I am sure I catched few phrases from earlier verses ("looking thru my folders", definitively), and maybe, on the end, something like "I was a lover, I was a lover".

Maybe:

wa wa wa wa wa thru my folders
wa wa wa wa wa wa orders
wa wa wa wa I was a lover



In any case, live version takes this song to hights.
