This feels enigmatic and wonderful... what a scene to imagine. I can see the rain falling down at the door where the Greek stands. I really like all the elements that are brought into it. Not only do they paint a graphic picture of the immediate scene, but they pose relevant questions with regard to the social and personal interactions of the time. I'm guessing you wrote it, correct?
