"confused in the quiet air
I forgot your words, its feeble trace,
What it was vanished like a rose"
Your words touch me so deep
my eyes almost closed
Your book slips to the floor
I think of the end
and I wish I could face that
in a similar moment.

Too many people cannot stand silences. Give someone a 'pause' and they will want to fill it with noise. Happy is the heart which is content enough to do nothing. To allow the moment to 'be.' To discover that quiet solitude can be more graceful and eloquent than the sweetest words. Sandra, I sincerely hope that such peace is what awaits us all. Not an unconscious emptiness, but the joy of conscious tranquility, where time no longer exists. In this world, we know that peaceful moments are but brief interludes. I look forward to the contentedness which a daydream can bring. Thank you for giving me some peace in my day. Byron "sends his regards."

the first three lines belong to Jose Agustin Goytisolo ´s poem called "olor a lluvia". I translated them the first I could .
Then I finished it thinking about his poem......

This is cool....sort of poem about a poem embedded within.
And it's short & sweet...the sort of thing I like. Guess I must have ADD.
