I just got my ticket to see Billy Joel in Birmingham

10 - Wembley Arena
19 - Manchester MEN Arena
24 - Glasgow SECC
29 - Dublin Croke Park
Tickets for all the dates go on sale Friday 31st March at 9am
Can't wait! Anybody else from here going?

He didn't do his cover of Light as the Breeze, but he had everyone singing along to all the old favourites including My Life, Allentown, Downeaster Alexa, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Only the Good Die Young, Movin Out, You May be Right, Everybody Loves You Now, The Entertainer, River of Dreams, Innocent Man, She's Always a Woman, New York State of Mind, We Didn't Start the Fire and Piano Man. He was in great spirits, and quipping about which of his exes each song was inspired by. Bizarrely, at one point one of his roadies performed the ACDC number Highway to Hell, backed by the rest of the group. Excellent.
What a wonderful trip down memory lane, what a singer and what a piano man. Great night.
