All is well

We dig a well with thirsting hearts
and fall into the hole
we crush against the mud and breake
the spine within our soul
And time can heal and so we climb
again towards the light
oh comming from the gloomy well,
salvation is so bright
We cannot stay up in the sun
we need the moist so bad
some people fall and breake their neck
it is so very sad
But some of us might realize
the blessing of the fall
we like to name it: loosers luck
the sun, the light, the call

Looking at the other side of darkness, you could even name it "Well Is All." You make excellent points about how people perceive what happens to them and how well they are to see the blessings of it all. I like this a lot.

OK, Tysh darling, just for you. However it has come to my attention that you used to get those famous ads on TV in the US too. All the ads were the same. The man from Del Monte would arrive by helicopter at some 3rd world fruit plantation. He was always dressed in a white suit as I remember(draw your own god metaphors on that one). He would go in to some shack, and taste the goods. If the peasants were lucky he would nod his assent. Then one of the peasants would rush outside and declare "The man from Del Monte, he say yes!" , and much rejoicing would ensue. The hard work of the peasants had gained approval from above.
Now, if you had not worked it out yet, here is why I posted it. I was reading dear Tysh's umpteenth post of "I like this one a lot" in here, and i just had a vision of the man from Del Monte flying around doing his thing. No idea why that came to me. My mind is odd at the best of times.
Well at least it keeps it off little girls i suppose.

....or does it [regarding your last line....an interesting distinction/disclaimer/whatever for you to make, Partisan]. Be that as it may, thanks for the
detailed explanation. I'd sure hate to miss out on one of your coup d'etats. I'd have presumed myself to be one of the peasants. Now we'll have to convolute it even further, as it would need to be goddess rather than g..d. So, if we in the U.S. were privy to the same commercials, why did you presume only the Brits would get it? Actually, I do have a vague recollection of it.
Nice to hear from you. Been awhile. I really like your posts a lot [umpteenth +1
