jilted germs

the synthetic smile and song
i remember those friends
the double-wink and the bong
and the black and white lense

they insisted i try it
i didnt and desisted
of the poke-a-dot diet
i blink-blink resisted

the elephant and the donkey
they never were domesticated
instead they were bred
the willy wonka chocolate factory
surely knew who it fed

now i find my lot
is to be hung
with my freudian slip-knot
and the pretty gray shades
are revolting,i was taught

i trust only my gia-pet
that lava lamp looks so suspect
and the robbin eating plastic worms
the prescribed defects take affect

so if i shudakudawuda,
i woudn`t
and of those friends ,nada
and if the guru was
LC
i still wouldn`t
i hope this isnt heresy

and sacrilige of all un-holy
was of "same old same old"fame
they even offended rolly-polly
and the mid-'30s dame

so swim in the jilted germs
and the 3-D simulation
theres a nylon lining to every cloud
and a compliment with every degridation

I nominate this poem for "Best Title".

Jilted Germs. It doesn't get any better than that.

Yes, punk rock ~ if that category is still known by that name.
