The double album, set for release on November 28, will feature the queen’s albums ‘Want 1’ and ‘Want 2’ in their entirety together with two bonus tracks.

Rufus Wainwright to release 'Want'
The special edition LP will combine his previous two albums
Rufus Wainwright is set to release a special edition album 'Want' on November 28.

Combining both his critically acclaimed 'Want One' and 'Want Two' LPs, the double CD package will also include two new tracks.

'Want' will feature a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Chelsea Hotel No. 2' recorded live in Brighton and 'In With The Ladies' co-written with Alex Gifford of Propellerheads.

'In With The Ladies' was originally recorded in New York as part of the 'Want One' and 'Want Two', sessions but was omitted from the final releases.

Both the tracks will be available next week for you to hear, exclusive to NME.COM.

The release of 'Want' will precede Wainwright's UK tour, which kicks off in London on November 29.

‘In With The Ladies’
Am I getting my families/siblings mixed up, or isn't Rufus the gay son/brother? What a coup the above title suggests

In fact, with most of the gay men I've known, they're almost all 'in with the ladies' .

Well, that's an aside totally unrelated to his covering "Chelsea Hotel #2." The more, the better, on official releases :D .

[Tee-hee, titter-titter, etc. forms of amusement, relating to things that are none of our business  . However, "Inquiring minds want to know...," right? I was the one asking, so... :P .]

Sorry I missed this earlier ..

Rufus is indeed very public about his being gay. Has almost sold out two nights in June for a gay-benefit concert in Carnegie Hall --- He will do all the songs from Judy Garland's famed 1961 conxert with 40-piece orchestra.

yes -- Linda has reserved our seats already!
