If it matters

a friend of mine just pm'd me saying that "EVERYONE says you are Vince".
I am not, never have been, and never will be.
I have not read his posts so I have no idea if being Vince is a force for good or evil, but either way- not me.
Please feel completely free, if it matters at all, to contact Jarkko and you have my full permission for him to compare whatever technical data he has to show the origins of the posts.

ha ha, no doubt. probably much younger as well. btw who is that in your picture? looks familiar and I will probably end up saying "of course!" the minute you tell me.

years ago on the LC newsgroup there was a Vince. Is it the same you?
aha! ta, a lot for the explanation. the person who told me that EVERYONE says "Vince" is me is someone who felt pretty betrayed by the idea.
as a teetotaller, my own follies don't ever carry that excuse.
