Fljotsdale and anyone~
I think that there should be Lots of Room (pun intened) for interpretation of the subject.
If that "living" next to Leonard happens to be via a hotel room, sounds perfectly fine to me.
I am not the final word on the procedure of this contest, just the on the winner. So PLEASE anyone with a differing opinion, especially those who have been vocal about this so far, speak up if you disagree.

A short story comp. could be very interesting, for a change. I'd find a few 'hired guns' to keep Pete busy for a while though.

I like the title.....of the thread
"Hats off to Larry" was a Del Shannon hit in the early 60's.
I recall hearing it played in my first year at highschool, yet my favourite was "Runaway". NO!!
"Little Town Flirt" was better.
I know this isn't a short story, but it sure is a short post.

Well, that went right over my head.

geez... i've read through this thread several times and didn't want to post anything. i would have preferred a poetry comp over a short story comp, but then i thought i haven't had much inspiration lately to even write poetry. hahaha. but i know with my daily rituals, including TOO MUCH WORK, time will not be on my side for undertaking such a document as this, but if something comes to me and i think it's good i will most likely go for it. but don't be surprised if i don't enter... not that anybody cares or anything.

Hi Jason,
I care, as I've seen some good work come from your virtual pen. As for the short story, that's one thousand words MAX. We saw a very clever use of 50 words. An inventive person could make a short, short story very well...inventive.

So it's definitely Living Next Door to Leonard? and the deadline is October 3rd?

Nan~

Yes.
But there is leeway to the subject. If you want that "living" to be in a hotel room next to him that is okay.
And I do believe Critic2 (michael) did say October 3 is the deadline.
Still oodles of time to come up with something.
regards,
Laurie
