I wrote this years ago, just before I gave up dieting as a bad job, LOL! It IS meant to be funny!Lament
Oh, how I envy skinny folk
Scoffing cake and chips!
Whilst meekly I sip one-cal coke
They guzzle alcohol, with crisps.
Sighing, I munch carrot sticks, and choke!
Oh! It's not fair that some of us -
Abstemious! - should be so fat
When skinny girls without a blush
Gorge chocs and point and giggle at
Our waddling gait and heated flush!
Oh, how I wish I were not fat!
I am so sick of 'diet' -
Can't eat this and can't eat that
And if I do, can't keep it quiet -
It burgeons forth as yet more FAT!
