my vendetta against makeup

all the galls that i've met
and most that i have not yet
don the stage actors guise
i guess i never told them
that this practice i despise

so now let it be said and done
let me attempt this one
to reverse the widespread reflex
at least to say my piece
about this commercialy designed hex

to begin i must explain
lest i myself heretofor be vain
that its a well-intrenched villian
as must be obvious to all men and women
why is it done,en mass?
i think its the "baby"of decades past

whatever may be (my favorite three words)
i declare let not the makeupless be labeled nerds
the natural beauty,past compare
an effortless glow,
please excuse my stare

the marketers bark,in the language of beauty
here this one looks fresh, this one rather fruity
see the celebrity,in her luxurious cage
(after a calculated propagandic day)
she wear not the makeup this makes me rage
(and those fad mags need pray?unfortunately ,nay)

so to all the sisters and daughters and mothers
and wives and friends and lovers
do what you will,whatever

if you find time a'wasted ,mirror over
i don't mean the time spent at the clother
then i might leave you with this
i could allready here a collective hiss
wash of the face any will do
i want you to see me,and i to see you!

Hi Elazar,

Your poem also shows a deeper love of the women you love.

I don't think women should wear makeup either. Except for lipstick. And maybe a little eye-shadow.
