Time never moves when you're lost in love
Time passes longer when I find a dream
Time justs floats when love keeps me awake
I'm surrounded by the melodies of silent shadows
Time passes slowly when I think of Leonard and You
Time fades away when your heart finds mine
There's something about the silence of shadows dancing across the night
While waiting for Leonard and You
Shadows rest in the creases above my eyes
Time sleeps when your love rises
Your heart is a giving that never ceases
Without your love time falls to pieces
Do you know that when love can't bend, that's when silence never ends?
When a heart's got nothing but love to give, time has no place to hide
Just drags back the time when shadows sing
Time can never erase the silence of shadows staring at my face
I think of Leonard and You and get caught in a trance
3 hearts waiting like lonely lovers to dance
Embracing in the most delicate way
Beneath the shadows that won't leave till they've had their say
Don't stare at my face, my eyes are still winning, but I'm losing the race
Love lives warm beneath the pillows where we sleep
I swear I saw a token memory take a bow
Then fall down broken and windswept
Till the morning over our faces crept

Words left unspoken as the shadows tore a glance
Takes me back to someplace, in an attic, sometime long ago
When I first heard Leonard seducing the woman below
He was the stranger who entered your room, trying to lead you astray
So you told him so boldly;
" I'm glad that you came, I'm lonely and looking for romance today"
Mysterious almost handsome, a voice so stark, so mischievous in the dark
" Don't ever forget that Passion can be Russian roulette, I'll give you no reason to ever regret", so coldly, he replied
" Ah don't let the shadows put you under their spell, ah you know that you know them, oh so very well"
The suspense in his voice will never leave you, in the silence of the shadows there will always be his echo
Time will drift by and he will stop by again and all you can do is wait
There's something about the silence of shadows that lovers hate
Waiting for Leonard and You is a lovers fate
