13th Toowoomba LC Event invite

Dear Forum friends
We have now finalised the program and other details for our 13th LC event in Toowoomba (Queensland, Australia), to be held on September 24th/25th.
What other excuse do you need to come 'down under'? There are plenty, but our relaxed and fun little event has to be up there with the rest!

What's more, if you become our first overseas guest, you will be treated like royalty (by
me at least)!
Anyway, if you're half tempted, just provide me with your email address and I'll be only too happy to forward the official invitation with program etc details in it.
Cheers

Andrew,
hope all ran smoothly for this year's event. I know you'll post a full summary in the files in the future.... but in the meantime, what were your thoughts on the gathering
Richard

Hi Richard!
Overall, the event went well, though there were a couple of minor disappointments. There was a bigger crowd at last night's event than last year, but I felt we didn't quite hit the high point we experienced last year! However, three things that made it
very rewarding for me this time around, were: the visit by Kelsey Munro (who has run three Cohen covers gigs at the Hopetoun Hotel in Sydney); , an 18 year old guy at the DVD/video session (who was such a fan that he couldn't think of anything better than watching films/docos about Cohen for an afternoon); and the mobile phone call from Paul Galvin in NZ during our lunchtime session today (because he was hoping to come to our event, but was sadly unable to).
I did miss you though and was also dismayed that Ania (who was well on her way here) had to pull out of the trip due to circumstances entirely out of her control.
Cheers
