Freedom to Rock

Ladies and gentlemen,
My rock and roll brethren,
Tonight we salute
Our soldiers in suit,
Who fight for the cause
To abolish all laws
That deplete the source
Of this rock and roll force.

And if this is a war
That we will fight for
Then we must look our best
To put evil to rest,
With our pulsing guitars
And our kick drums from Mars
We’ll be locked and loaded,
Our fists sugarcoated.

We’ll dress to the nines
And get toasted on wines
‘Til you beg from the fog
For a hair of the dog,
Wiping sweat from our brow
We’ll take our solemn vow
To have Earth in control
By all rock and roll!

Good one, T. It cetainly does imply 'Rock and Roll'. I like:

Then we must look our best
To put evil to rest,
With our pulsing guitars
And our kick drums from Mars
We’ll be locked and loaded,
Our fists sugarcoated.

thank you. it was mostly on a whim. i had the quattrain beginning with "we'll dress to the nines" already and had to base it off something else. i didn't want to put too much into it so that's why it's only 3 stanzas. someone else liked it so i figured i'd post it here. anyway, thanks again.

Yes, and now this is in music form, thanks to Henning. Good job, both of you.
