Happy at the end of silence
Silence like to be alone
till the flesh falls of the bone
can you hear me, must I die
should the song in darkness fly
it is strange how death is torn
from the silence of the born

Very interesting in its metaphysical qualities, Peter.

Metaphysical and existensial. Very Camus in quality. And very difficult to achieve. Admirable.

Thanks, Vesuvius, for the other word I couldn't find [existential] when I responded.

Peter~Your poem made me stop and think about the complexity in what at a glance seems simplistic. I discovered the title is more important than most, but still have much to learn from your esoteric piece. Thanks for sharing. cheers, Laurie
